Get Practical Info - Promotional Bugs in Business

If you are looking for a promotional gift that comes in a wide variety of variations, then the puzzle promotional gifts could be just what your next promotional campaign needs!

You can have your company’s logo and contact details printed onto a numbers square type puzzle. This means that the recipient, or their children, can be playing with the game to rearrange the pieces and carefully studying your logo and details. This means that their concentration is focused on your details, just where you want to be!

These puzzles are fairly cheap and are suitable for mass distribution. Try dropping one into each shopper’s bag at checkout, or just handing them out at events, festivals and trade shows.

Have them printed in a few varieties, such as varying the exact layout of your logo and contact details. Put the contact details above, below or to the side of the logo or run them through the logo, around it or place them within the logo.

How does this help? If you are handing them out at a trade show, let the people picking them up know there are different varieties and suggest they look for a couple of different puzzles. This comes across as being friendly, whilst stalling them at your stand for longer and possibly breaking them into a conversation.

Or if you are handing them out at a shop, ask if they have previously collected a puzzle. If they answer yes, you not only know that the puzzles are popular, but you can offer a different variety. This starts the collecting mentality and can encourage the customers to come back for more in the future.

If you are after a small promotional item that you can distribute in bulk then the good old novelty promotional bug can be an excellent item to look at. Per unit, they are not overly expensive and can be very eye catching.

These promotional bugs are very popular and are used in all manners of promotional activities. Because they don’t cost much per bug, they are suitable for mass distribution techniques. They are usually attached to an additional ribbon onto which can be printed your company’s logo and contact details. This means that you are combining a cute, easy to handle promotional product with a satisfactorily large printing area that will get your message across to your public. They also usually have a sticky pad on the base of the bug, which allows them to be stuck onto various items, from computer monitors to desk accessories.

The bugs are available in a wide range of colours and shapes. If you are renting a stall at a trade show or exhibition, the bugs are cheap enough to be able to buy a batch and leave them in a box for passers by to pick their own out of. Not only is this getting your contact details to these people, but it can also be a chance to talk to some of those that stop and maybe discuss future sales with them.

Hotels and the likes sometimes also distribute promotional bugs along with their normal pens. These are left for children staying in rooms with parents and business travellers wanting to take home a small reminder for their children. The result is that the children remember where the parents were staying and can want them to stay again!

Read Best Knowledgebase to Promotional Items Made of Leather for Business Advertising

It is vital that to get the maximum (ROI) when purchasing logo products. The aim of this article is to briefly discuss how our five senses are affected when producing products which will carry a marketing message. For many purchasers these five senses are ‘pampered’ to, to produce items for promotional giveaways that convey quality in sight, sound, touch, smell and taste.

Hearing/Sound

Anything whose main purpose is to produce sound should always give the user a feeling of quality. Items such Radios should convey quality to be perceived as good quality in its manufacture. Items which when in use produces sound should have that quality sound. This is where items is made of certain materials or have distinctive quality finishes. Items made of materials such as metals should be able to ‘sound’ durable. Rolls Royce and Lexus spend inordinate lengths of time and money to produce car doors which give a certain ‘solid’ sound when closed.

Sight

Probably the most important part to a promotion product is the look of the item. They say ‘a picture paints a thousand words’. A logo item that stands out either because of its colours or its design and shape will make for the most cost effective product. Innovative and creative design in its shape or materials used will make for an effective promotional product. An item which has a decorative finish compared to a plain finish will give the impression that the maker/producer has gone that little further to produce an item which shows consideration in its production.

Feeling/Touch

We have in the past produced items which are great for promoting your business. Some items can be expensive but there can be no limit on purchasing a quality product. A quality product is not only appreciated by the client but gives an impression of the business as being ‘quality’ also. Many pens are purchased for promotions, designs including rubber grips are chosen as they have a better ‘feel’ in daily use.

Smell

Air fresheners are probably the first item which leap to mind when discussing our sense of smell. Another item which conveys a smell is that of leather products such as Wallets through to Conference Folders. Leather will convey a sense of quality compared to a budget Plastic product. Leather promotional products carry the unmistakable smell which for many conveys a long life product of quality.

Taste

We recently produced some mints for a company. These were plastic credit card shapes and have about 50 mints. The company’s logo and business information can be printed onto the plastic credit card sized package. This is one of the most interesting giveaways that can be used to help promote your business. This product is not only useful as a breath freshener but is something that can be shared with anyone as well as the client. This also has the advantage of being seen by a wide audience when being shared around. We are able to have logos printed onto all manner of confectionary and its packaging including cough sweets etc. Items available include Chocolates, Mints Cards, Drops & Pastilles, Metal Tins, Boiled Sweets, Energy & Vitamins, Lollies, Jellies and Rock.

Vending Machine Locations Secrets! Find More Locations For Your Vending Machines In No Time Flat With One Simple Strategy!

Locations For Vending Machines

Here is a good way to get vending locations for your vending machines in no time at all. If you really want to make money in the vending business then you are going to need vital information when looking to secure vending locations.

Forget hiring a locator to do this for you. Some people seem to think that this is the way to go and make money in vending. This is the farthest from the truth when it comes to obtaining vending locations.

Vending locators charge a bunch of money for crummy accounts and cannot guarantee any earning whatsoever. One thing that you must remember also is that even when you find your own accounts sales volume is always up in the air.

Just because one account may have a good number of employees doesn’t mean that you are going to make x amount of dollars. Every account is different so the best way to get going is to test out each account as you go.

Making sure that you are not paying too much right away in vending machines. But getting back to vending locating secrets it really all comes down to marketing your business and how much time and effort you put into it.

Nothing in life comes easy and business is the same. There are ways to get countless numbers of locations but are you willing to learn and take the time to implement different marketing campaigns?

If you are then you can make a fortune in vending and even turn around and sell locations that you acquire. Wouldn’t that be cool? Well it’s true!

Here are a few ways that you can get blast awayed[/spin] with a marketing strategy for your vending machine business. First you will need a few materials like a business card or a one page flyer. When you have these items you can send them or leave them with the local businesses that you are interested in.

Vending Machine Locator

Second you can start by cold calling or doing some mail out campaigns. These marketing tactics do work but take some time and energy to get going plus they are relatively cheap to do.

Third you can go to your local building department and find out what new businesses are under construction. Then go to each location and leave your contact info with the management.

These are just a few ways to get going. Once you have some involvement in talking to people about your vending business and promoting it then I would suggest some advertising efforts.

Once you start advertising it does cost money so you have to do some homework and choose the right types that will bring you more prospects and money and not just the advertising company.

Some strategies would be telephone directory listing and getting yourself a website and on the internet. The goal is to have local businesses in your area calling you for your help and vending services.

Chris Robertson has been a successful vending business operator for over 10 years working out of Toronto Ontario Canada. To learn more about finding Vending Machine Locations in your local area check out www.myvendingsecret.com today.

Read Free Guide to USB Items in Business Promotional Campaigns

USB flash drives are becoming increasingly popular and are coming down in price rapidly, whilst at the same time their storage capacity is increasing. Many websites selling them don’t list prices as they are changing, for the better, daily. These handy little devices that 5 years ago were the preserve of the technically minded are now appearing all over the place and used by many different people, from technical support, to students to your average computer user. But why is it that makes these little devices such a useful marketing tool? are a useful tool that many people would otherwise be buying for themselves. If a tool is something that your customers would otherwise be buying for themselves, then it’s going to be a useful promotional tool as when you give them a free one, they are bound to keep them and use them often. Your recipients will be able to carry around with them all of their important data, by simply attaching their promotional USB flash drive that you have given them to their keyring and carrying it around in their bag or pocket.

If you are arranging a conference, a user group meeting or other get together and want to ensure that the attendees take away all of your important points, then write your slides to a promotional flash drive and give every attendee a flash drive at some point, either as they arrive or in their conference pack. They will then take home their flash drive and be able to review the contents of the slides. If you have guest speakers attending, then they can be charged a suitable fee for adding their notes to the flash drives. Other promotional materials can also be added and the flash drive can even be made to autorun.

Why should you use a promotional flash drive as part of your marketing activities? What benefits are you likely to gain from such a campaign? What exposure can they give to your company and brand?

For a start, your customers are walking around with a very useful tool imprinted with your brand name on it. For activities that are ran as joint ventures, you can even have two logos printed onto the flash drives - one on the front and another on the back. This sort of service does really reinforce you as a friendly, helping organisation and if you are a technical business, it’s really great to associate your brand or company’s name with a modern, high tech tool that many people will use.

Students, consultants and many others will be able to carry around with them their vital files wherever they go. There’s no need for huge packs of disks, one small USB flash drive can store many files, with some having the capacity of several CDs. They are also quick and easy to write to, unlike CDs. You just plug them into the computer and access them as you would a hard drive. This makes them brilliant for moving files between computers or just having those essential files, reports or whatever to hand whenever and wherever you need them.

If you use them to hand out conference slides and agenda, those with their laptops to hand can access the slides straight away and copy them to their machines. They can then add their notes to these files as and when they want to. When it’s their turn to hold a presentation, they can also take backups of their slides on the USB flash drive - and never need to be stuck again when the machine with the well prepared slides fails to boot up after being knocked in transit.

There’s loads of uses of these wonderful little devices - get yours on the scene before everyone else does.

Competent Guidebook - Promotional Stationary and Games in Business Advertising

It’s soon to be that time of year again when businesses are left to decide what promotional golf gifts they are going to be giving to their customers and prospective customers. Often, this sort of task will be delegated to an unfortunate individual, who is given a tight budget to work to, told how many gifts are needed and expected to get the gifts produced in time, on budget and looking great.

It really depends on your company’s budget per gift. If you are working to a tight budget then there is a good choice of low cost items that you recipients will truly be pleased to receive. But if you have a larger budget to work for, the range becomes even greater and that, I suppose, is where the difficulties start. Just where do you start looking?

For the low end budget, the standard Christmas golf gift would be the logo golf ball. These are a fantastic idea for those arranging the gift, not least for their flexibility. If you are on a tight budget then you can just send a sleeve of three of the cheaper brand name balls to your recipients. If you have a bigger budget, or are wanting to impress your recipients, then a box of 12 high end brand balls can be sent instead. Do you want a bit of both? Well that’s also simple, just choose which brand (or brands) to have printed up and for those you want to be more generous towards you send a full box, whereas those customers that aren’t so important get a sleeve of balls.

Other low cost golf items abound as well. There’s the printed golf tees, which can be ordered either individually, boxed or in tee bars, with ball marker and divot repair tool attached.

For those with bigger budgets to work with, or simply those wanting to impress their customers more, then look at the range of promotional golf clothing and similar items. What could be better than a huge copy of your logo printed onto the surface of the gift? Well this is possible using the range of promotional golf umbrellas. From basic umbrellas to fancy, almost storm proof umbrellas, your choice of umbrella is wide and varied. Best of all, it’s the type of promotional item that golfers will keep and use when necessary. When they are in use your logo is on full display. And if you have chosen to have a clear logo printed onto your umbrella.

Other items of promotional golf wear don’t have such obvious logos for all to see, but are excellent for making your customers feel wanted and appreciated. Golf caps are on the lower end of the price range here, and many might see them more as general giveaways for golf events and the such likes. But there are also promotional golf t-shirts, which can be a great giveaway as they are light and easy to distribute, either through the postal system or by giving them to customers as your reps visit them.

And returning to the keeping dry theme, there is also a great range of protective outerwear that can be imprinted with your logo and used as gifts. Promotional golf jackets are a good high end item to give to your customers. They really do show your appreciation of your customers and are sure to be kept safely, for that next game of golf that turns out to be wetter than expected…

The Virginia Limited Liability Company Is Most Common For Operating A Small Business

In 1991, the Virginia legislature passed the Virginia Limited Liability Company Act which provided a new legal entity alternative for business owners in Virginia. Before then, many businesses were conducted as partnerships or sole proprietorships which created unlimited personal liability for the business owners. While there has always been the choice of starting a corporation for business, the complexity and compliance requirements of a corporation dissuaded many small business entrepreneurs.

The LLC offers the same limited liability protection as a corporation but happens to be a much simpler entity to form and manage. For one thing, the limited liability company does not require centralized management or a Board and has no meeting mandates.

While more business entrepreneurs began forming an LLC in Virginia for the protection, some still ignored this new option because they did not know exactly what this legal creature was and did not really understand its many benefits. Another reason for the tentativeness is that there was a lot of uncertainty regarding how the LLC would be taxed.

The tax uncertainty was eliminated in 1997 when the IRS came out with simple rules which allowed an LLC to automatically be entitled to a single layer of taxation. A corporation by default is subject to double taxation so now the LLC seemed to be the preferred entity from a tax perspective. If an LLC is single owned, there is no additional tax complexity so sole proprietors started forming limited liability companies to get the protection. With the country becoming so much more litigious, the LLC has become an essential requirement for small business in Virginia given its many benefits and with no real disadvantages.

So now, for minimal fees, a Virginia business owner can get liability protection, an easy and easy to operate and have more tax benefits. Based on statistics of the past few years,, the Virginia limited liability company has greatly surpassed the Virginia corporation as the entity of choice for small businesses in the Commonwealth.

Time to Find Out the Knowledge - Golf Items in Business Promotions

If you are thinking about giving your customers a golf gift for Christmas, then the choice of gifts needs a little bit of careful consideration.

First, the gift needs to be something useful, and probably given most companies’ tight marketing budgets, something not too expensive. That’s where gifts such as logo golf balls can come in very useful. They need not be too expensive and because they can be split, usually into packs of three, you can give some customers a sleeve of just three balls whilst others could be given a full box of a dozen balls,

With logo golf balls, even if the recipient doesn’t play golf, they are likely to think it’s a shame for them not to be used and then pass them to someone they know that does play. This makes the campaign almost viral – your customers are distributing your promotional gifts for you to their friends, who in turn might just become your next customers!

But what makes giving promotional golf gifts at Christmas so tricky? Simply put, only the keenest of golfers are playing at that time of the year. Whatever promotional gift you choose to give to them is going to have to be interesting enough for them to put away in their golf bag and pulled out later in the year.

That’s not to say you shouldn’t give golf gifts for Christmas. This delayed reviewing of the gift actually brings an added advantage to the campaign, lengthening the course of it from the immediate impact until the moment that the player hits the ball, never to see it again.

Once your golfer loses the golf ball, what happens then? Well, it’s likely that someone else will later pick up that ball, either searching the rough for their own ball or when the water hazards are drained to empty them of they cache of balls. They can then be sold as lake balls to other players. Yes, your company logo should still be surviving to be seen by other players! Excellent marketing…

Logo golf balls are typically available with almost any brand of golf ball you may wish to use. Again, this accommodates many marketing budgets as you can provide an economical ball through to a high end expensive brand ball. If you really want to cut costs, lake balls can even be printed up with your logo.

Just make sure that your logo is clear and that some form of contact details are included, unless you are a huge brand name that everyone can find. Keep it simple, but eye-catching and when you order them, order plenty and distribute them to everyone you know. The more that are out there, the more potential customers there will be to see your logo.

Time to Discover the Info - Promotional Golf Items in Advertising Business

There is a wide variety of choice, both in items available and budgets to work from, if you are looking to give your customers corporate golf gifts this year.

Starting with the ever popular, logo golf ball, the range is fantastic. If you want to use golf balls as your promotional golf gifts then you really can’t go wrong. Get sufficient printed and the small customers can receive a sleeve of 3 cheap brand balls whilst the really good customers can be treated to a full pack of a dozen high quality brand name golf balls.

Another utility present that most customers will find useful is the promotional golf tee. Where would a golfer be without his (or her) tees at the start of each hole? From small tubs of tees in plastic boxes, to tee bars with printed ball markers right the way up to the extravagant looking metal tin filled with tees, there’s an option for every budget. And if you want to distribute on a smaller scale, you can even buy packs of individual tees ready for distribution.

Another popular gift, is the golf score marker pencil. Print your name along the side and make sure these are passed onto your customers. Doesn’t sound much of a gift for such fantastic customers? Well take a pencil, a few tees and a sleeve or two of golf balls. You have a really fantastic present there for next to nothing. But it looks like you have gone to a lot of cost and effort to put the gift together for the customer. They will really appreciate you for that kindness and effort!

If you are thinking of putting together your own gift box, don’t forget the golf fork and golf marker, or even look at the combined fork and markers! Again, a small but useful tool that will help to make your gift look well thought out.

And, of course, if you are putting together these gifts yourself, don’t forget the tote bag, which can be clipped to the side of a bag to carry useful tools by the golfer.

Does this sound too much like hard work? Well then, look at the range of ready assembled promotional golf gift packs and boxes. These can contain items such as those already mentioned, and maybe a small golf towel. Some of the boxes are really well presented in order to set off your gifts to their best.

Whatever you decide to use, calculate your marketing budget, work out how many customers you want to send the gifts to and work out from there what items your budget will stretch to. And hope for some decent golfing weather next year!
