SEO Marketing, Your Visual Blueprint for Effective Internet Marketing
posted in List Marketing |When I begin my SEO marketing campaign, keyword research is very important. This is how I’ll set up my keyword campaign. I’ll start out with 50 terms to use. Then I’ll look at the search volume to see what kind of traffic I can generate to my web site. I also look at the competition. Now I’ll take the 50 keywords that I have and put together a blog.
Here are some SEO training tips I’ve learned. Pay-per-click is good to test your keywords in. I’ll take a look at how many clicks each phrase gets and figure out a return on my investment. The keywords that get a lot of clicks, I’ll use. I narrow the list down to about 25 words by now.
Now I’m going to work with the keywords that will make me money. I don’t bother trying to work in the other keywords into my plan, I just let them go.
Then I’ll take the longer tailed keywords and I’ll work on my blog some more. I work at ranking for the longer tailed keywords first, and then work my way up my list. Now I’ll do some link building, article writing and bookmarking.
By this time I’m already ranking for the longer tailed keywords. Now I’ll work on the words that are left on my list. They are usually more competitive. My job is easy ranking for the longer tailed keywords and if I do this job correctly the others won’t be that much of a problem either.
I’ll work on a list and build it up to about 300 keywords before I develop my blog more. I lean more towards off page optimization. I write just enough articles for testing, but I make sure they are of good quality. You don’t want people coming to a web site that is full of junk that is disorganized. Now I’ll try and sell someone else’s product.
The articles on your website don’t have to be long. I keep mine short. I don’t want to waste the visitor’s time and I want to hook them right away with something so that they will come back for more. This is when I’ll ask for them to sign up for my mailing list. I’ll use these people at a later time and try and sell something to them. I always try to engage the reader to do several things. This is when you can put up a product to see if it would sell. That is why you want to have a mailing list. You can go back to the people that like your stuff the best. This is how I put together a good SEO marketing plan. If you do the same thing, you’ll succeed.
