Magnify Your Takings With Proper Customer Service And Business Speakers
posted in Bricks and Mortar Business |Do you offer good customer service as part of your business? Depending on which company or employee you ask, the answer is sure to be different. Everyone knows that customer service is important but we all have different views on what good customer service is. We all want to be treated well and acquire that friendly service we all deserve. While you may put all your efforts into your approach to the customer, some will just not thank you for it. However, when you deal with the public for a living and depend on their tips for your rent, you don’t have to ask the silly question; why is customer service important? You already know the answer.
I worked at a Chinese take-away for my first job. The owner was my best friend’s father. He asked me a question before I started; why is customer service important? Because of his thick Chinese accent I got confused and though he said something completely different. Thankfully before I had time to answer he had become too busy. When my mate explained to me what his father had said, I ignored the question. However I soon learnt why it was so important. I only had to mess up a couple of orders to realise. When the hungry patrons got angry, I got no tip.
Over the next several years I tried jobs in video stores, malls, and of course bars. Remember, angry customers means no tips. The tips that you get make up your wage in these low-paid jobs. It makes up your pay check.
Big businesses cannot afford to ignore the importance of good customer service either. Every employee should be aware that the way they deal with your customers will affect how many sales you make or the profits you see at the end of the financial year, and business speakers can teach them this. A business speaker is effective because they have had experience in a similar sector to you and have overcome all the obstacles to make their business a success. Your business will only see large profit margins if they offer good service. Next time you ask yourself why customer service is important, just look at the happy responses from your customers and the happy pound signs next to your profit sheet.
